Author Guidelines

CUMHURIYET UNIVERSITY JOURNAL OF ECONOMICS AND ADMINISTRATIVE SCIENCES AUTHOR GUIDELINES

1. JOURNAL of CUMHURİYET ÜNİVERSİTESİ İKTİSADİ VE İDARİ BİLİMLER  EYİ2016 Symposium Special Press will accept articles both written in Turkish or English. Each academic papers that appear in the journal are subject to the academic process of anonymous reviewing of at least three referees. Articles are publishen on electronic space.

2. The academic papers that appear in the journal must not be published or be submitted for publication elsewhere.

3. Manuscripts should be single spaced and typed on one side of A4 sized sheets and should be written in Word format with Times New Roman 11 font in respect of these guidances:
Top margin: 5,5 cm., Bottom margin: 5 cm, Left and Right margin: 4 cm., First Lob: 1 cm, Previous Paragraph Gap: 6nk, Next Paragraph Gap: 0nk.

4. Manuscripts should normally not be longer than 30 papers.

5. The main heading of manuscripts should be written with capital letters, boldface and in the middle. Introduction and Conclusion headings should not be numbered and one line gap should be allowed before the titles. The linear subheadings should be classified with Roman Numerals like as I,II,III and should be written with capital boldface letters and aligned with paragraph. The second rate headings should be classified like as A,B,C while third rate headings should be classified like as 1,2,3. These types of headings should be written with small boldface letters and aligned with paragraph. The fourth rate headings should be classified like as a,b,c and should be written with small boldface letters and aligned with paragraph.

6. Tables and figures should be numbered consecutively and contain full references.

7. The first page of the manuscript should contain title, author(s)’s name(s), affiliations and addresses, e-mail addresses and abstracts which are written both in English and Turkish, no longer than 150 words with key words which are no more than 5 words. The abstracts both in English and Turkish should contain parts as purpose, methodology, findings, limitations of the study and originality.

8. All references should be cited in the text (not in footnotes), and conform to the following examples:
……..stated (Erday�, 2004:150)
……..Ozekicioglu (1996a:125-127; 1996b:153) explains…….
……..(Gulmez and Kitapci, 2003:122)
……..(Akpinar et al.,1998:56)
……..(Akcay, 1956:17; Yildirim, 1999:124): to cast back to more than one sources for the same subject.
……..(American Marketing Association, 2006): for sources whose authors are not known and are reached with Internet.
……..(Dortyol, 2008): to cast back to whole source.

9. The explanations should be pointed out at the end of the manuscripts under “NOTES” heading.

10. References should appear at the end of the text as follows:
